David Crosby Rejoices at Spectrum Concert
Crosby, Stills and Nash: The Spectrum, June 23, 1977
During the rehearsal, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash and a sound technician devised an elaborate practical joke to play on David Crosby at the Spectrum. Crosby’s microphone was rigged to filter his voice with strange sound effects.
Crosby, who had missed the rehearsal, was spared the embarrassment at the Spectrum as Stills decided to “save it for L.A.” the band’s home base and upcoming stop on the tour.
