Eric Clapton 1974 Road Crew Tour T-Shirt

Tour T-shirts were often given to us by the road crew. Typically these were special shirts created for the "roadies" and tour staff. Some were distributed by the band, while others displayed the sound and lighting companies' brand. This Eric Clapton shirt was given to me in 1974 by the SHOWCO SOUND AND LIGHTING company, out of Texas. Showco, who also handled McCartney's tour, was one one of the most popular tour equipment companies. Pennsylvania's Claire Brothers was also popular and used by the Rolling Stones for the 1975 tour. © ROGER BARONE 2009
