LOU RAWLS: THE SPECTRUM (JUNE 1977)

This shot shows what behind-the-scenes at the Spectrum was like. This is the east end delivery tunnel. All of the performers were driven down the long ramp into the bowels of the Spectrum. A limousine is visible behind DiBattista and Rawls. Chair racks are on the left, while the portable risers used for the first five rows of the seating area are pictured on the right. The fouklift is off to the right.

This was where we got to meet a lot of the stars. When they were alone, they were accessible and accommodating. DiBattista collected lots of autographs and unique souvenirs. We were able to meet our favorite stars. It was fun.
