ERIC CLAPTON: THE SPECTRUM (April 1, 1978)
On this night, Clapton’s tour bus had engine problems and wouldn’t start. The bus was parked inside the Spectrum at the base of the delivery ramp. About forty stagehands, members of the road crew and Spectrum changeover crew members had to push the bus about twenty yards up the ramp’s steep incline.
Eventually, Clapton’s tour bus drove off into the darkened night, after its successful launch.
