He was entralled by the Flyers' and Spectrum's history, and began singing "God Bless America" before the Kate Smith Sculpture, while simultaneously photographing himself. GREGG FLYERS’ FAN: THE SPECTRUM (June 4, 2010)

Greg traveled all the way from Vancouver to show his unrelenting faith in the Philadelphia Flyers. “It was a once in a life-time” opportunity, he said, explaining the whirlwind travel, lodgings and sleep deprivation he faced to see the Flyers’ play game four of the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals.

He posed with the famous “Goal” and Kate Smith sculptures, took a boxer’s stance at the intersection of Broad and Pattison Avenues, assimilating the baddest bully of them all, Dave Shultz and serendipitously acquired a great seat for a reasonable price–attired in his number 88 Lindross jersey.

Via email, Gregg writes ” Seeing the Spectrum [demolished] now makes that trip I made to game 4 last year … that much more special and important!!  So where did they move Kate and Dorny? Wow, that really was history I got to experience!! Thanks again for the fun pictures you took of me that day.”
