I’m the guy from Brazil who used to live near Philly and went to the Paul McCartney and Wings concert on May 14th, 1976. I notice on google, you have pictures of both May 12 and 14 shows but the dates are backward. Paul was wearing the yellow Venus and Mars shirt at the show on May 14th which I went to. The black shirt was worn on May 12th. Have a great day.

Hi Tom, thanks for your comment and contribution to the blog, but, actually, the dates I’ve posted are correct. I had front-stage access from the photo pit for the first show (May 12) only, during the second show (black outfit) I walked around the arena, and later in the evening, shot from a sound wing off to the right. That’s where the full-length shots of McCartney playing the bass and looking back toward the other musicians (toward my camera) were taken from.
Additionally, press photographers were given access to the first show and McCartney’s seen wearing the yellow jacket in Philadelphia publications’ coverage of the show.
